Does BlockbusterPrint.com use Offset or Digital Printing Methods? - Offset printing by Heidelberg Printing Presses is the only choice of BlockbusterPrint.com. What is offset printing you say? The offset printing method is the world's highest quality HD printing which creates film and metal plates to produce your artwork. Local print shops like Kinkos, Staples or Office Max, use a low-quality digital print method. Beware of the quality of digital machines. An offset printing press is the size of 2 school buses while a digital machine is the size of a home dishwasher. Offset is superior. We would never think of using anything less.

How long does printing take to complete? - It all depends on your needs. We can print and ship out same day, 24 hours, 2-3 business days, 3-4 business days, 5-7 business days or all the way to the free printing speed of 7-10 business days. What does "full bleed printing" mean? - Full bleed is a fancy technical term used by the print industry which means, "borderless printing". Let's say you have a postcard that is 5" x 5" and you have a beautiful image you wish to print borderless.... you will need to add a "full bleed" of .125" to accommodate the borderless print. So you should design your files at 5.125" x 5.125". Machinery shifts during printing and cutting so to keep your borderless print safe, you add that extra full bleed so you get an even borderless print after product is cut to actual size.
